An ultra lightweight boot for summer alpine climbing, Scottishwinter walking and summer mountaineering scrambles, the La Sportiva Trango CubeGTX sets a new standard in weight and comfort, thanks to seamless uppers and aunique thermo-coated external layer.

No more bulky stitching; the overall weight of the boot iskept to a minimum and comfort is much improved by replacing traditionalstitching with a water repellent thermo plastic coating. A lightweight lacingsystem also uses thermo plastic covered hooks and loops to eliminate stitchingand reduce the inner foot volumes.

Internal anatomical padding and an integrated stretch tongueprevent the formation of folds and allow the foot to move in synergy with theshoe.

The "CUBE" sole was designed by Vibram exclusivelyfor La Sportiva. A thin mounting layer between the outsole and midsole reducesthe boots profile and the amount of rubber used; once again reducing theoverall weight of the shoe. The midsole structure uses anti-compressionpolyurethane in the toe and heel and EVA shock-absorbing inserts in the footbedand heel area. The heel pad benefits from TPU inserts which enhance shockabsorption and rebound upon impact with the ground. The 3-D Flex System offersfreedom of movement for the ankle and better stability on steep terrain.
