A beautiful fine and impressive water / cordial / wine jug, a perfect addition to our bar & dining range.
A fine quality Victorian English silver jug, has a circular round form, bulbous body, standing on a circular stepped dome base.
Interior has an excellent coverage of gilt, only thinning gilt on the rim / pouring spout area.
This fabulous quality jug is fitted with an imposing scroll handle ornamented with a fabulous acanthus leaf decoration thumb piece / Rest, with wonderful detailing on the acanthus leaf.
The jug is 170 years of age, quite remarkable to find one in this condition.
Fully hallmarked on the underside of the Jugs pedestal base, Hallmarks are in excellent condition, very clear and easily readable.

Excellent / Superb condition.
The exterior is free from nasty dents, dints or scratches, splits or breaks.
The interior has an excellent coverage of gilt only thinning at the spout and upper neck area, interior is also wonderfully clean and in superior hygienic condition. A Beautiful example of a Victorian solid silver Water- Cordial- Wine Jug .
Hallmarks are excellent, very clear and easily readable, Base Stands true and straight, No wobbles, Exceptional gauge of silver used.

There maybe some very fine marks commensurate with age, however they would be very fine and very minor.
Wonderful Jug highly collectable would make a great addition to any collection and a wonderful addition to any chair side / bar tipple area.
