This guinomi (sake cup) is made by Fujita Zuiko, a Kyoto/Kiyomizu-yaki artist. The design features a mesh pattern, considered auspicious, with a plum blossom motif that has been popular since ancient times. The plum blossoms are densely painted even on the inside of the vessel, showcasing the high level of craftsmanship by the artist. The mesh pattern symbolizes seizing happiness, while the plum blossoms have deep connections with the Reiwa era, making it an excellent soldes gift choice. The cute plum design would surely be appreciated by women. This vessel is truly splendid, typical of Kyoto pottery, and would beautifully enhance your moments of relaxation both in appearance and function.
