About this picture
This is an unusual and lovely view of a spot which you may not even notice as you drive along the road to or from Aberdyfi (Aberdovey). It is relatively sheltered, and for that reason some boat owners overwinter their boats there because it is cheaper than having them lifted out and stored ashore. That is possibly why the sails have been removed and not furled.
Edward Morris biography is on the back together with a sticker from The Gallery before it moved to the Square in Aberdyfi. That sticker is over an older label for Dickinsons Gallery, Corve Street Ludlow which used to exhibit Edward Morris work.
The picture is framed and the frame is, I think, in reasonable condition. I do not sell frames. I give them away, so please remember to tell me if you would like to have the frame with or without glass. I will give you a price to ship it at cost.
Please bear in mind that I cannot insure glass or frames and if the glass in broken in transit Iit may damage the watercolour - that is even after I have taped the full surface of the glass to try to hold it in place if it breaks.
