THIS IS A VERY UNIQUE SORT OF PARISIAN STYLE CLOCK, MADE BY GILBERT CLOCK CO IN WINSTED , CT.

I DID HAVE THIS CLOCK WORKED ON TO BRING IT TO ITS WORKING CONDITION AND HE LAQUERED AREAS THAT HADSOME CHIPPPING OR CRACKLING SO IT LOOKS VERY NICE WITH JUST A LITTLE TOUCH UP . THE CLOCK IS VERY OLD, NOT FINDING AN ACTUAL DATE WITH OUT TAKING IT APART. HOWEVER WHENEVER A CLOCK IS WORKED ON BY AN ACTUAL CLOCK PERSON IT IS KNOWN THEY PUT THE DATE SOMEWHERE,, THE OLDEST DATE I SEE ON THE OUTSIDE IS 1942.

I DO BELIEVE IT IS MUCH OLDER THAN THAT. LIKELY THERE IS A LOT MORE INFO INSIDE, BUT I AM HESISTANT TO MESS WITH IT,, THIS STYLE GILBERT CO WAS MAKING IN THE EARLY 1900S

I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL KEY BUT AM SURE I CAN TAKE ONE OFF ANOTHER.
