This is a “Banshee”, which has both a 2D chipset, and a 3D VooDoo graphics accelerator. Would make a great retro gamer!

Very similar to Guillemot's 600-0044-04, but has a different colour board and heatsink…perhaps a Canadian variant? I have been unable to find information to confirm. Unlike other similar Guillemot cards, this one is not marked “made in Taiwan”, and the logo appears to be different than both versions of 600-0044-04.

This was a retail boxed unit I bought new about 25 years ago (1998?), and used it for about three months before upgrading to a Pentium 2 computer (and removed this card before selling my old Pentium computer). It then sat in storage until testing it February 12, 2025.

It fires right up and loads default drivers in Win98. 16Mb, PCI slot with 26 pin internal VESA connector and 2@20 VMI (video module interface) header.
