I am selling these for a relative. There were 2 large postcard albums full of cards, almost all unposted. One album contained series of topographical cards, mostly of NSW, and some comic, romantic and theatrical cards. The earliest would be undivided backs c1903; there is no reason to think any would be much later than c1906. The second contained cards that seem to have been collected on a voyage taken from London, almost certainly on P & O RMS Ortona, in1905.
These are the cards from the second album. There is every reason to think that the person who collected these cards and passed them on was a crew member aboard the P & O RMS Ortona.
You can read an account of the 1905 voyage here

the cards collected exactly correspond with the ports of call of the voyage. We move on to the foreign ports from London, ending up with Australian ports. Happy to combine; you can fit a lot of postcards in a 500g parcel. Some have staining from album storage, which is obvious in the photos - please look carefully so you can be sure of what you are buying.
Gibraltar was the first stop on the 1905 cruise of the Ortona. Read about it here
