All parts are newaftermarket replacement parts manufactured by Cougars Unlimited LLC and comewith a 2-year limited factory warranty. They are replacement parts to be usedto replace the original Ford parts used in there sequencing tail light systemson models that originally came with sequencing tail lights. They are made toplug and play into the original mounting and wiring harness. They are notdesigned to be used to convert non-sequencing tail light systems to sequencingtail lights.
You are purchasing
One C7SZ-13A366-AS Sequentialturn signal system unit (T4 EARLY Model)(*Note: Compatible with LED or Incandescentbulbs)
And
One C5SZ-13A366-CR- TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR RELAY ELECTRONIC(LED or Incandescent bulbs)
Replaces:
Sequencer Flasher - Directional Relay- Stop Lamp Relay(Located on the rubber pad in the trunk)
and
Thermal Flasher Can-(Located under the dash)
Application:
1967 EARLY Thunderbirdmade before 1/16/1967. (T4 EARLY Model)
*NOTE: INDICATOR RELAY ELECTRONIC 1967 TBird - When converting to LED bulbs the indicator lights on the dash will stop working because the original thermal flasher will stop working because LED bulbs do not draw enough current to activate it. To solve this problem Cougars Unlimited LLC makes Electronic Flasher can replacements. They work with either LED or Incandescent bulbs.
The Cougars Unlimited LLC C5SZ-13A366-CR Electronic Flasher Can is a functional replacement for the 3-Pin thermal indicator relay found under the dash of the 1967 TBird. Failure of this relay caused the dash light to pulsate dimly or not flash during normal turn signal operation. Included in this purchase.
Cougars Unlimited LLC strongly recommends using WCCC1157RPR (Red for rear) LED bulbs and WCCC1157YPR (Yellow for front) LED bulbs. They have a built in current limiting diode. This stops the reverse current flow that causes sequential turn signal systems to malfunction.
PLEASE READ:
To make sureyou are purchasing the correct part look in the trunk of your Thunderbird, locate the rubber pad, and count how many parts are mounted on the rubberpad.
If there arethree parts on the rubber pad then your Thunderbird has a stop lamp relay, itis an EARLY Model made before 1/16/1967 and you are purchasing the correctunit. (C7SZ-13A366-AS)
If there aretwo parts on the rubber pad then your Thunderbird does not have a stop lamprelay. This means you have a LATE model made after 1/16/1967 and you arepurchasing the incorrect part. Do not purchase this part. You will need topurchase a (T5 LATE Model) C7SZ-13A366-BS.
PLEASE READ IF CONVERTINGTO LED BULBS
*This sequencer system unit is fully compatible with LED orIncandescent bulbs. But because LED bulbs do not draw enough current toactivate the thermal indicator relay under the dash, your indicator lights onyour dash will stop working. To solve this problem Cougars Unlimited makes anelectronic indicator relay replacement. This electronic indicator relay isfully compatible with LED or Incandescent bulbs. For 1967 Thunderbird, allmodels, use the T21-7) 1967 Thunderbird Turn Signal Replacement Indicator RelayC5SZ-13A366-CR
Cougars Unlimited LLCstrongly recommends using WCCC1157RPR (Red for rear) LED bulbs and WCCC1157YPR(Yellow for front) LED bulbs. They have a built in current limiting diode. Thisstops the reverse current flow that causes sequential turn signal systems tomalfunction.

*NOTE: TURN SIGNAL SWITCH– All turn signal switches sold by Cougars Unlimited LLC are for use with LEDbulbs only. The reason for this is applicable vehicles are now over 50 yearsold the current that sequencing systems draw have greatly increased over time. This is because of the original wiring harnesses and connectors aredeteriorating increasing the resistance. Higher the resistance the higher thecurrent draw across the switch. The current is now so high on most vehiclesthat it exceeds the ratting of the switches, causing them to prematurely fail. The only solution is to convert to LED bulbs, they draw far less current. Onvehicles that have converted to LED the turn signal switches are not failing. The only other solution is to replace the complete wiring harness which isexpensive, and in most cases not possible.
