The coins in this exclusive set have a very low maximum mintage of 1,000 each worldwide. The number of full sets of 4 coins, housed in a special themed presentation case, inthe hands of collectors is unknown, but probably less than fewhundreds.
The idea of vivid depiction of the animals on Earth in their natural habitat gave life to this series and originally it was planned to produce 4 silver coin wildlife sets for all six continents of our planet, but the project was never completed, leaving only the initial "Europe" set to ever see the light of the day.
The obverse of all coins is same and displays the emblem of the Principality of Andorra. Special minting technique has been employed to reveal stunning details of an artistic image of the respective animal on the reverse. Presented in a luxury box, the “Atlas of Wildlife: Europe” consists of four coins dedicated to Wild Boar, Perch, Pond Turtle and Wood Grouse.
